I recently purchased a vehicle from Volkswagen Park Avenue Brossard and gave a review on the sales team, but I also want to recognize Frédéric Beauvais, the General Manager. It’s rare to see a GM so present and involved, and his contribution genuinely made a difference in my experience.
He was on site, speaking with clients, taking feedback, and showing real interest in how his team handled sales and looked for ways to improve the process. It wasn’t just small talk, he actually listened and engaged. I also learned he personally visited the dealership that was taking my trade-in to make sure I wouldn’t be affected by Park Avenue Group’s sale of its Land Rover/Jaguar dealership. That’s not something a GM has to do, but he did it anyway to ensure everything went smoothly on my end.
After my ID Buzz was delivered, I stopped by on a Saturday to pick up some accessories. Not only was he in the dealership on a Saturday, he stayed past closing to answer my questions and give me practical advice about my new EV, plus a few restaurant recommendations on top of it. He was easy to talk to, but more importantly, the information he shared was genuinely useful. In all my years of buying vehicles, I’ve never had that level of involvement or added value from a GM.
Overall, Frédéric’s availability, attitude, and commitment to making sure things were done right stood out. It reinforced the impression that this dealership isn’t just running smoothly, it’s being led by someone who actually cares about the customer experience.

I finally got my ID Buzz from Volkswagen Park Avenue in Brossard, and honestly, the experience was solid all the way through. Sure, there was a bit of waiting involved to get the vehicle, but in the end I had exactly what I wanted within a month.
My salesman, Maxime, works in Pre-Owned Vehicles, but he stepped in to help since the new-car team was swamped. That says a lot about his attitude, he didn’t have to do it, but he did, and he handled it with a level of professionalism you don’t see everywhere.
Communication was spot-on. This young part-time salesman even answered my texts while he was in class. That kind of responsiveness is pretty rare and definitely appreciated.
Now, because the ID Buzz was coming straight from Germany, there was a little mix-up early on about the delivery timeline and which port it arrived at. Totally understandable since Maxime isn’t usually dealing with new-vehicle logistics. Once he realized it had arrived in Halifax instead of Montreal, he let me know right away. No excuses, no runaround, just transparency and a new ETA. That’s exactly how a salesperson should handle a hiccup: acknowledge it, fix it, and keep the customer in the loop.
Throughout the entire process, Maxime made sure I always knew what was happening and what to expect. His honesty, effort, and flexibility made my purchase a smooth and reassuring one.
And honestly, several of his coworkers also deserve a shout-out. David, Ramses, and Sofiane were all super helpful whenever I dropped by asking questions & eager to learn more about my first EV. They were enthusiastic not just about the car, but about Maxime’s attitude and the whole process. Ramses even offered to drive the mini-bus so I could test out the comfort of the second and third-row seats, adding an extra 10 minutes to the test drive just to make sure I was comfortable.
Even after the ID. Buzz was delivered, Maxime stayed late after hours so I could pick up some items I’d ordered. I’ve been dealing with Lexus from another automotive group since 2010 and they’ve been great, but I’ve never seen someone so eager to provide accurate, complete information. Maxime must have run up the stairs 15 times one evening to get answers on things he wasn’t normally dealing with. And to be clear, he wasn’t wet behind the ears and never came across as unqualified—he was just honest about what he didn’t know and immediately went to find the right information (twice after hours).
In short, the service was excellent, the team genuinely cares, and Maxime went above and beyond at every turn. I’d recommend Volkswagen Park Avenue Brossard to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I needed a new car and had been looking at different brands. It was suggested that I look at VW since I wasn’t happy with my experiences at other dealerships. Never thought I could afford a VW, but that’s another story.
I was matched with Jeremy Lavoie at Park Avenue Volkswagen. I cannot say more about how professional, presentable, knowledgeable and respectful he was during my shopping experience. He provided me details of the car I was considering. He followed up with me with a choice to select a different colour when an available car was being shipped in. And contacted me whenever sales on car accessories and tires came up before I received my car. Once the cars arrived, he called me for a test drive, which I had mentioned on day 1. Helped me choose the right tints for my car windows to ensure they were complimentary to the car. And took the time and patience to go through the car’s functions as my last car was 14 years old and did not have all these “newfangled” electronics.
I am very appreciative of Jeremy’s professionalism. He never forced any sales if we said no. He respected his customer. Even now, after delivering my car to me, he follows up to ensure that I am still satisfied. I cannot recommend Jeremy Lavoie more to be your sales representative. One of my best buying experiences.
